Theatre Arts Welcome

You could be the lead role in our yearly musical, or our next media star! Whether you like to be in the spotlight or behind the camera, EAC has a something for you. Our Theatre Arts program gives you intense, hands-on practice in all aspects of theatre including acting, makeup and stagecraft.

We have great programs, great facilities, and excellent instructors. We’re happy to answer any questions or show you around EAC.

- William H. Nidiffer, Theatre Arts Department Chair

Theatre Arts Student Experience

“At EAC you get into productions your
freshmen year, unlike most other
colleges. My freshmen year I was in
three theatre productions, and
thus far in my sophomore year
I have been in two productions.”
- Jessie Conway

“I have been fortunate
enough to perform, design,
build and direct here, and gain
much more experience
here than in any four
year program. Also
the smaller class sizes
ensure that I get face
time with my instructors
on a daily basis.”
- Rob Torres

“I saw a vast improvement in the entire
Theatre department this year. I think
everyone cared more about grades
and that every production we did this semester had more commitment.
That is a quality that will help us when
we transfer to the university level ...
For most of us theater students,
Broadway is the goal. We do not
all want to act on Broadway.
Some of us want to teach,
direct, costume, or construct.
Jobs in theater are obviously
varied. But, Broadway or
something similar is
where we want to be.
Thank you EAC.”
- Angela Efros
